And this is His commandment,
that we believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ
and love one another, just as He has commanded us.
Whoever keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in them.

We are a family, born of God, and reconciled to Him thru His Son's sacrificial death on the cross. We love Him. And, we are called to love our brothers and to lay down our lives for each other, just as He did for us. We seek to follow Him with the allegiance of our hearts and the obedience of our lives. Following in His footsteps, with the strength that He gives, we come together to share our life in Him and our common purpose of glorifying Him.

We meet together often to spur one another on to love and to good deeds, to encourage each other's faith, to refresh each other's hearts, to be transformed by the renewing of our minds, to share in each other's joys and each other's burdens and to share with everyone the good news that He has come!

Not that we have reached all these things, or are already made perfect, but together we press on to take hold of Him who has taken hold of us.

"Yet a little while,
and the Coming One will come and will not delay;
but my righteous one shall live by faith,
and if he shrinks back,
My soul has no pleasure in him."
